Job Summary

This is a unique opportunity to shape and evolve the brand identity of an organization that is building different business lines.  The work is iterative by definition, the right person for this role is comfortable putting out imperfect work and driving continuous improvement.  This is a leader + doer role, the ideal candidate must be able to work at multiple levels. 

Role Responsibilities
  • Brand Stewardship: strategically support and own creative execution to evolve the MyCare brand. Establish and ensure brand guidelines are upheld in all programs and projects.  Deliver consistent brand execution in tone and voice.
  • Marketing Services Leader:
    • Meeting with stakeholders to determine the project scope.
    • Planning concepts by studying relevant information and materials.
    • Illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size and style and submitting them for approval.
    • Designing and producing attractive multimedia content according to specifications.
    • Communicating with clients about layout and design.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinating with outside agencies, art services, web designer, marketing, printers, and colleagues as necessary.  This role often sees the projects from design through procurement.
  • Social Media: Specifically LinkedIn – responsible for managing and executing the health holidays and corporate communications LinkedIn postings.
  • Email marketing: Establish email marketing program leveraging Constant Contact.  Primary use case is in supporting the Concierge business, however other use cases exists for other business units.
  • Website: The person owns continuous improvement of the website.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a graphic designer or in related field.
  • Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
  • Proficiency with required desktop publishing tools, including Photoshop, InDesign Quark, Adobe, and Illustrator.
  • Artistic with a strong eye for visual composition.
  • Excellent knowledge of storyboarding, visual design principals, and animation.
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Able to give and receive constructive criticism. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of marketing, production, website design, email marketing, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design.
  • Experience with computer-aided design.
  • Basic knowledge of web publishing software.
  • A portfolio of multimedia design content showcasing your skills and experience is a plus
  • Experience with branded retail environments is a plus.
